The Artist’s Pool ("TAP") is a vibrant international art collective dedicated to harnessing the power of art to unite and inspire creativity. 

 

TAP was founded in 2014 with a shared belief in art’s unique ability to heal and bridge social cultural divides.  Our ethos drives us to put that belief into practical action through exhibitions, workshops and charity partnerships.

 

Over the years, TAP has curated and participated in more than 50 UK and international exhibitions. including an eight-year presence at the Edinburgh Fringe.  We formed a collaboration with the FLY Art Collective in Turin, Italy which has broadened our reach across Europe and into Latin America.  The variety of artists that we bring into the 'pool' comes from the connections we make with our international and diverse audience and is reflected in the range of work we exhibit.  

 

TAP directly encourages young artists in their goals through initiatives such as the 'Unbound' exhibitions, while widening the opportunities for professional and 'second career' creatives with open submissions and international collaborations.   

Our motto is 'Follow the Adventure' and it has taken us from derelict industrial sites to castles and museums in Italy.  

 

Our charitable initiatives have included workshops with the Woman’s Trust, Crisis Skylight and The Human Legacy Project, to raise awareness for vulnerable communities. Our charity art auctions have raised funds for CALM and Maggie's cancer care unit in Edinburgh, and we ensure that a percentage of sales from our exhibitions is regularly donated to charitable causes.  

 

Each team member brings their unique personality and skill set to the pool – a mixture of cultures and experiences with a harmonious goal – to promote the positivity, connectivity and healing power of art.'
